Kiki & Herb met in a government-run
facility in Western Pennsylvania in the
1930s and they have been dazzling
crowds around the world ever since!
Kiki & Herb are Justin Bond and
Kenny Mellman, respectively.
They joined musical forces in
San Francisco before heading
East to take New York by
storm. For the past five
years, as Kiki & Herb,
Bond and Mellman have
performed non-stop, with
such shows as the 2000
Obie-winning Kiki and Herb:
Jesus Wept
and 2001’s
Kiki and Herb: There’s A
Stranger In The Manger

at NYC’s beloved
Westbeth Theater
Center.
Most recently, Kiki
& Herb enjoyed a
special limited run of
Pardon Our Appearance
at The Wilma Theater in
Philadelphia, kicking off an
international tour with their
newest production
(coming soon to a city
near you!). Kiki & Herb’s
repertoire includes songs by artists as varied as: Wu-Tang Clan, Joni Mitchell, Styx, Pulp, Suede,
David Bowie, Pat Benatar, Radiohead, Nirvana, Patti Smith, Suicidal Tendencies, Bonnie Tyler and
Britney Spears (as never heard before). Known for their unique brand of musical mayhem,
Kiki & Herb have been honored with numerous awards and accolades, including the 2000 GLAAD
Media Award for Outstanding New York Theatre Experience. Their first CD, currently available in
stores, features guest vocals by noteworthy friends of Kiki & Herb including: Deborah Harry,
Molly Ringwald, Isaac Mizrahi and Rufus Wainwright. Among the shell-shocked onlookers spotted
in Kiki & Herb audiences: Katie Holmes, Lou Reed, Laurie Anderson, Michael Stipe, Kevin Costner,
Sandra Bernhard, Parker Posey, Megan Mullally, Paul Reubens, Sir Ian MacKellan, Tilda Swinton
and Gloria Steinem, to name a few!
